5 Countries In 48 Hours

We are leaving on a trip to Vietnam in about 4 hours. This trip was planned out well over four months ago. All the flights, hotels and tours were locked in. That was until the People's Alliance for Democracy (PAD) took over the Bangkok airport over a week ago. All of our flights in and out of Southeast Asia were routed through that airport. All of our planning down the tubes. So we have spent the last three days trying to make the trip work. Since anyone that was using that airport was doing the same it was not easy. As of last night at 7Pm we were back on track. Unfortunately our simple Bahrain to Bangkok to Ho Chi Minh (Saigon) plan was no longer going to be that simple.

As you can see from the below list it is going to be a little more complicated getting there. It will now take us two days instead of one with a one night stop over in Singapore. Normally a trip like that would not scare me. But take a look at the family pic below and I think you may figure out what or should I say who my major concern may be. Well wish us luck. I will update as soon as we reach Vietnam and get settled.

Saudi Arabia to Bahrain
Bahrain to United Arab Emirates (Abu Dhabi)
UAE to Sri Lanka (Columbo)
Sri Lanka to Malaysia (Singapore)
Malaysia to Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh)
